

John Fleming is a fifth-generation dairy farmer based in Killarney. The Fleming family have been farming in Muckross, Killarney since the 1840’s. Johns father Patrick expanded the farm and focused on milk production.

John Fleming is a fifth-generation dairy farmer based in Killarney. The Fleming family have been farming in Muckross, Killarney since the 1840’s. In 2019 John & Catherine identified an opportunity in the local market to produce premium handmade ice cream.
Muckross Creamery produce a wide variety of delicious ice-cream flavours, using their own fresh milk, fresh cream and free-range eggs. In fact, 70% of the ingredients used are produced on the farm. All homemade ice creams are available in the pop-up ice cream parlour in the old cottage on the farm.
